
Sarah Maxwell is also nationaly certified and a member of the
American Massage Therapy Association. She is trained in all levels
of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therpy (AOBT) and Healing Stone Massage(HSM),
Whitney Lowe's Orthopedic Massage and The Rossiter System.
Sarah opened Stone Temple Sanctuary in 2002 and has also
begun to offer Yoga and Tai Chi at the Institute downstairs. Along with practicing AOBT, HSM, The Rossiter System and Orthopedic massage,
she also offers Ashi-Thai, Swe-Thai, Slipstream Therapy Cupping,
the Valerian Dream and the Dr. Haushcka facials and body treatments.
She has been an authorized instructor for AOBT since 2004 teaching other massage therapist how to deliver this incredibly effective massage to thier clients as well.
Sarah takes great pride in all the therapist working at the sanctuary and stands behind them 100%.

Nell McGriff, graduated from the Connecticut Center for
Massage Therapy in 2008, is nationally certified, and is a
member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Healing Stone
massage, The Rossiter System, and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy.
Nell is also an authorized instructor for the Barefoot Basics and
Anterior & Sidelying workshops for Ashiatsu that are held here at
Stone Temple Institute!
Nell has a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and believes that movement and massage therapy are key to creating wellness for the body, mind and spirit. She enjoys customizing individual treatments using a blend of bodywork to help her clients restore and maintain their optimum health and well being.
 
Susan Wright graduated from the Connecticut Center for
Massage Therapy in 2005, is nationally certified, and is a
member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
She is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports,
Healing Stone Massage and The Rossiter System.
Susan also is a Level II Reiki practitioner.
Susan is connected to the healing qualities of massage
and the power of touch. “Massage is incredibly powerful
and benefits the mind and body in almost every way.
In my opinion, massage is one of the best ways to maintain
good health and well being.”

Sarah Dowie is a 2005 graduate from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and an AMTA member as well. She graduated from Penn State Universite in 1994 and has over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. Now she is specializing in deep tissue massage and incorporates swedish massage and sports massage depending on the clients need. She also offers Craniosacral therapy. She is a Clinton, CT native that knew she wanted to be a massage therapist since the first time she received a professional massage at the age of 18! Sarah is at Stone Temple Sanctuary most weekdays and every other Saturday and Sunday.
