Winter Schedule

 

Gentle Power Yoga, Mixed Level - Monday 6:00 -7:15PM

Gentle yoga is designed to warm, strength, tone, and energize your body and mind. Add in a mix of Ashtanga Yoga postures (asanas) and breathing (prana) techniques with some meditation to awaken the energy centers of the body (chakras) and you have a ‘GentlePower’ class filled with total awareness of the mind, body and spirit that relaxes, increases flexibility, and improves body strength. Appropriate for all levels

 

Yoga for Self Love - Tuesday 5:30 - 6:45 PM

Experience postures and meditations to help you practice Ahimsa, or non-violence towards yourself. Often, we talk to ourselves or treat ourselves in ways that we would never treat others. This class will help you make room for acceptance and kindness in the way you think of yourself. Beginner level.

 

VinyasaFlow, Mixed Level - Thursday 9:30 - 10:45 AM

A flowing class designed to therapeutically open the frount, back and spiral lines of the body. The class includes centering, standing, balancing and seated poses connected with heat building vinyasa movements, concluding with 5 - 7 minutes of total relaxation. Moderate, all levels welcome.

Registration

Registration for the class is by sending a check payable to Karen Gomez, for the amount of the series. Drops ins are cash only the night of class. For details and mailing address call Karen directly

Refunds and Cancellations

Payments for the class series are non-refundable. Only if a cancellation is made within a minimum of 72 hours before the beginning of the program, a full refund will be given. No exceptions.

One make up class will be extended at the end of the series.

Things to Know

Classes are held at Stone Temple Sanctuary in the Lower Level.

The room is kept on the warm side to support your practice, please dress accordingly. An empty stomach or near empty stomach is always best. Whenever possible, please refrain from perfumes and heavy scents as a courtesy to instructors and other students. We are committed to the class being a positive, healthy experience for every student. If something is not working for you, please let us know. We learn from you too. All feedback is welcome.

Bring your own sticky mat. Bring water and a towel for your convenience.

Wear comfortable light clothing that allows maximum movement.
